We were delighted to print this adorable saddle stitch children’s book for first-time author, Brandi Mire, and illustrator, Lauren Hill. The story chronicles Britt and Liam, her big furry dog, as they meet new creatures around their new home and neighborhood. Each story has a gently lesson of kindness, love, curiosity, and adventure.

Why did you choose Publishing Xpress?
During the pandemic, anything coming from overseas was a long time delayed due to port issues. Not to mention, there is something about “Michigan Made” to our children’s books that gives us an extra niche category.

I’ll use Publishing Xpress each time for all things printing. As a self-publisher, Publishing Xpress gave me the freedom to design and print like a big publishing company.
Is there anything you wish had been different?
The only thing missing is the printing costs of a larger publisher but that isn’t realistic for Publishing Xpress. If I print using the discounts, it’s helpful.
