This perfect bound journal printing, project, DSCH Journal, is a bi-annual, international publication dedicated to the life and work of Dmitri Shostakovich, the Russian composer and pianist. It is written and published by a group of people from varied professions, brought together through their appreciation of Shostakovich’s work. Beyond the journal, the group is also involved with international conferences, recitals, and exhibitions.
We have had the pleasure of working with Bryan at DSCH Journal for several years now, printing many of their issues. This project was the January 2018 edition. As usual, it was a smooth process with very interesting content! This issue of the journal includes everything from historical details about Shostakovich to reviews of his recordings to insights into the themes of his compositions.
