Museum Catalog Printing for Blink Concept & Design
Publishing Xpress is pleased to feature this museum catalog printing project and designer in our spotlight this week. From the large landscape size of the book to the crisp and clean design, this was a must share with our clients and audience.
Publishing Xpress is one of the few companies online that offers 8.5 x 11 landscape book print orders. We do have a few restrictions when it comes to our landscape prints, such as 80# gloss cover stock being the only cover option, no UV coating on the covers, and the inside covers must be blank. HOWEVER, if you have a very large order, please contact us before placing the order, and we can discuss specs.
We loved that Frank went with a white background for this museum catalog. This helped complete the order quicker because the wide-format printer uses ink to print, not toner, so it takes a bit longer to print the covers. Also because it is ink being used, having a white background ensures no color rubbing off.
Overall, the very nice high-resolution photographs of the featured art paired with minimal text descriptions, made for a easy-to-bind and pleasant-to-view museum catalog printing project.

Client Review of Museum Catalog Printing Project
How did you select Publishing Xpress?
My client wanted a very small run and there were 40 pages….something that doesn’t fit regular commercial printing. I did some web research and found Publishing Xpress. Because I always look for the best price for my customers, I bid the job out to 5 other printers and Publishing Xpress got the job.
How was your experience with Publishing Xpress?
I was a little skeptical working with an online service that I had never worked with before. My sales rep was very good about returning emails and phone calls with all my questions and concerns. She overnighted samples of paper and jobs Publishing Xpress had done in the past. Those samples helped ease my mind.
Was your project completed on time?
YES and it was a very short turnaround.
Were you happy with the quality of your project?
The client and I were very happy with how the project turned out, as were the artists and collectors featured in the book.
