This color family book printing project was a delightful tribute that came about when the author and his wife reunited with relatives in Wales after 60 years.
The author’s relatives in the United States had lost contact for over 60 years with relatives in Wales. Through some DNA connections, he reestablished communications and with his wife, traveled to Wales to meet over a dozen cousins that he did not know existed. The author’s grandfather was one of 11 children born in Wales. His genealogy book encompasses all of the 11 siblings and their descendants, stories, pictures, houses they lived in, and churches they attended. It’s a beautiful keepsake for the entire family!

How do you feel about the quality and timeliness of your project?
It was terrific to receive a free kit of sample paper stock for cover and pages to make the decisions easier. Also, the pre-publication PDF proofs, and printed proof allowed me to fix mistakes before publication. The end product was a high quality beautiful book that looks perfect. It was completed days before my expected deadline delivery date and allowed me to pass the books on to extended family quickly.
Would you use Publishing Xpress again? Why?
I would certainly recommend Publishing Xpress to everyone and I would definitely use them again. Publishing Xpress was in communication with me via email at every step of the process, so I knew exactly the next step and how to fix things that might have been problems in the completed book.
Is there anything you wish had been different?
No, the published Genealogy Book was perfect as was the entire experience. Publishing Xpress is a great company!
