Ever heard of a family newsletter printing project? If not, maybe it’s time we all do! A family newsletter is a newsletter, sometimes a book [depending on how large your family is], where all your family’s contact information, images, and updates are compiled to share with the whole family — essentially a family yearbook.

This week’s spotlight is on our client Victoria Avery. Victoria is a graphic designer, and the woman behind the creation of this lovely bound family newsletter printing project that was printed with Publishing Xpress. She does all kinds of design work from books, to packaging, to cards, and very well might we add.

We chose to highlight this book because of the concept as well as the design elements and specs chosen.

Keeping with the newsletter theme and considering this is a family book, Victoria made appropriate selections with the paper choices. A very light and uncoated 60# text stock [this type of paper is pretty standard for newsletters] and a bit heavier 100# cover stock [a pretty standard cover stock for perfect bound books] to make the final product a nice sturdy bound book.

Victoria made sure to leave us enough bleed room to ensure no text or images get cut into when in production. Also, seeing that this is basically a yearbook with tons of images, Victoria made sure to provide quality high-resolution images. High-resolution images make a world of a difference in your viewing and overall products appearance.

Client Review of Their Family Newsletter Printing Project

“I selected Publishing Xpress when I was having problems uploading my book to a printer I had previously printed through. I wasn’t able to get any help through them, and I spent days trying to get my book to upload. Trying various methods of converting my files to a PDF, I became very frustrated and decided to find somewhere else to print. So I came across this company in a Google search. I really liked the price, so I decided it wouldn’t hurt to try.

My experience was a complete 180 from the other company. They were nothing but helpful, with chat with instant responses to my questions. Also the quick and timely manner of getting proofs back. Then the book was much greater quality than I had gotten from the other company at a much lower price.

My project was completed on time, sooner than actually expected. I was extremely happy with my experience with Publishing Xpress and will use them in the future.

Thank You,

Victoria Avery”
