What’s a reunion without capturing those great memories to display for years to come? This week’s spotlight is on our client, Classic Imaging and Publishing [CIP], the experts who make photographing your reunion truly hassle-free. For almost 50 years, CIP has worked with over 2,500 reunions nationwide. They use only photographers and staff from their office to guarantee the quality of the photography. With CIP, you get to enjoy your reunion and leave the photography, publishing, and most of all, the preserving of memories to them.
The reason why we love the color program booklet printing projects that CIP prints with us is because of the layout design. Each of their orders are anywhere between 16-20 pages of colorful glossy images that are placed cleanly within fun borders and margins. When our clients provide us with margin/ bleeds, the final product always comes out looking flawless.
Bleeds are crucial when we go to bind and cut down a book. See, the blades of cutters tend to bounce around just a pinch when trimming down bulk orders. So with a bleed, you are always left with a perfect edge with no worries that anything of importance will get cut or glued into the spine.
CIP sticks with the same stock for all their color program booklet printing needs — 80# Gloss Text for the inside pages and a 100# Gloss Cover + UV coating on the front of covers.
Typically, we here at Publishing Xpress are not huge fans of perfect bound books with glossy paper and glossy covers, because glue never sticks as well to glossy paper as it does to matte or uncoated paper. But in this case, it works just fine because of how light and thin the color program booklet printing project is.
CIP says they chose Publishing Xpress for their color program booklet printing needs because of our perfect binding option and competitive pricing.
“The quality of your product is first rate and we have no complaints. Our customers are very happy and that makes us very happy. We will use you again … and again … and again …..”
And Publishing Xpress is also very happy when our clients are happy! ☺
