Not all books are created and published for resale, some are simply for personal usage, and those sometimes are the most unique and special prints. Some people work on things for themselves and their families and simply share it in a binder or perhaps just through chatter, but how nice would it be to have a family tree printed book? Our client Carl Wickstrom did just that. Carl essentially created an extended family tree rooting from four family members, which resulted in this family tree book printing project. There appears to be extensive research put into his work. Carl definitely got creative with this project.
Color Family Tree Book Printing For Wickstrom Geneaolgy
Publishing Xpress appreciated the work put into this book and how well done the final product looked. Each page had black text and color images on a white background, keeping it nice and simple, not taking away from any classic photographs. It’s important to keep this in mind while designing a family tree book printing project of this nature — less is more. There is so much information and so many photographs that too many design elements or colors would simply create an unnecessarily busy and tacky product. Rather, if you are looking for a ‘fancy’ look to this type of book, choose a better paper instead. Simple on design and better on paper quality and binding will result in the best family tree book printing project.

Start with your aunts, writing down everything they say in a bound notebook. How can I get my young family members interested in my book? Easy, put their picture in the book. When will they become filled with the zeal of genealogy? When they turn 40 and undergo the Great Change: they suddenly acquire a taste for Scotch, and a thirst for Family Knowledge.
I have to say, I have looked this book over with coffee for some days now. As I turn the pages and look at the pictures, it occurs to me, this is the damndest book I ever saw.”
Carl found his experience with Publishing Xpress on his family tree book printing project to be good. After finding us on the Internet and printing the second version of the book with Publishing Xpress, he came back to print the third version as well.
