If you can capture a scenic geographical image without distorting or taking away from the real life beauty, kudos! Consider yourself a true photographer. [This coming from a non-photographer, but someone with a keen eye ;)] Joan Fenicle is one of Publishing Xpress’s gifted photographer clients. Joan has been travelling the caminos and callejones of New Mexico and Colorado for over 40 years, capturing villages and vistas in paintings and photographs. Each one of Joan’s images truly captures the depth of the nature and art she has photographed.

Color Poetry and Photography Journal Printing for Joan Fenicle

Joan [the photographer] partnered up with her cousin, Karen Biddle [the writer], to create this lovely complement of images and poetry that they then formed into a poetry and photography journal printing project that was printed with Publishing Xpress.

Sized just right at 6×9, landscape format, with centered text on one side and full-page photographs on the other side, each page in this journal printing project is more compelling and intriguing than the other.  The book was designed in a manner where no extra graphic designs or funky text took away from the photographs or made the poetry difficult to read.

Joan selected our heaviest text stock — 100# gloss text — matched with the 100# cover stock.  This was a good choice for this specific photography journal printing project, since the rich photographs printed flawlessly on this heavy text stock.  For Joan’s photography journal printing project, the overall look and feel was appealing to the eye and in hand.
